Corala: Deity's Loom is a dark-fantasy action-adventure title inspired by 6th-generation console games. Built with the bold visual identity and tactile feel of mid-2000s console classics, the game combines deliberate, rhythmic combat with intricately puzzling dungeons.
Players are invited to navigate an atmospheric landscape and combat against monstrous creatures, while on their quest to stop Von Hadrick from claiming divine power and consuming the land of Corala in its entirety.

Built in Unreal Engine 5, Corala uses an entirely custom shading and lighting solution designed with the specific purpose of recreating the Gouraud shading method used before Phong shading became the norm in games.

Corala's graphical style puts a central emphasis on hand-painted texture detail rather than using things like normal, specular, or ambient occlusion maps. The game's art style is entirely reliant on techniques from the 6th-generation console era like vertex painted lighting, projected entity shadows, and low-poly assets.
